Dark Sky Fixtures

Some municipalities have created outdoor lighting ordinances in an effort to minimize light output into the night sky and onto neighboring properties. These are often referred to as “Dark Sky Ordinances” and they can vary greatly. The fixtures shown below are designed to provide only downlight to meet the intent of these regulations. Because these ordinances are all different, we recommend that you obtain prior approval from the governing authority before ordering. Many of our other standard wall sconces and lanterns can also be modified to meet most such ordinances.
